Hello friends,
I’m sure most of you are aware of my current situation, however if you are not, it goes like this…
At the end of January I started working for the BC Cancer Foundation, primarily focused on the Ride to Conquer Cancer. Five weeks later at the beginning of March I was diagnosed with cancer, and am now in the midst of chemotherapy treatment. As a result, the Ride has taken on even more meaning for me.
Friends of mine have taken on the challenge of participating in this year’s Ride as Foreman’s Fighters and I am committed to fundraising alongside them.
So, I am asking that you make a donation and help the cause. Funds raised go directly toward the amazing research and care at the BC Cancer Agency, including the POG (Personalized Onco-Genomics) trial that I am in, which is essentially decoding the genomic structure/DNA of a patient’s cancer. This is world-leading stuff and the future of cancer care.
If you would prefer to donate to any of the other riders on the team that is great. Every donation makes a difference!
